Buy Euflexxa

Euflexxa is a medication that is often used in the treatment of joint inflammation and knee pain, particularly with patients diagnosed with osteoarthritis. Typically, physicians will recommend this treatment when over the counter pain anti-inflammatory drugs and physical therapy have proven inadequate to manage the pain and stiffness. Since the medication is prescription only, patients must have authorization from a doctor before being able to buy Euflexxa.

The function of Euflexxa comes about due to the inclusion of an ingredient known as hyaluronate or hyaluronan. This ingredient helps to promote the healthy production of fluid in the area around the knee joint which in turn helps to make movement more comfortable and also helps to keep the joint properly lubricated. When the area around the knee joint is properly lubricated, the joint is better able to enjoy a normal range of mobility and withstand shock.

How is Euflexxa taken?

Like a number of other medications designed for the treatment of osteoarthritis, a doctor will administer Euflexxa by way of an injection. Typically, the treatment will require one injection per week over a period of several weeks. Up to three injections may be necessary before you begin to experience results. Typically, no preparation for the injection is required, other than making sure the area around the knee joint is clean. Most physicians will recommend not cleaning the area using any type of cleansing product that contains ammonium salts, but soap and water will normally work fine.

The amount of Euflexxa administered in each weekly injection will vary, based on the severity of the joint pain. Physicians will monitor the response to the injections and adjust the dosage accordingly. Depending on the presence of other medical conditions, the dosage may also be increased or lowered.

Your physician will not inject Euflexxa directly into a vein or artery but into the spongy tissue around the knee. This helps to minimize the potential for any side effects to appear. Typically, patients should avoid strenuous activities such as jogging, heavy lifting, or any other activity that would subject the knee joint to severe stress for at least a period of 48 hours. Your doctor will provide specific instructions for activities based on your general health condition.

What are the side effects of Euflexxa?

There is the potential for side effects with the use of Euflexxa. Some of the more common side effects include pain and some swelling in the area around the injection site, as well as some bruising. An increase in heart rate, back pain, and some tingling in the knee and surrounding area may also occur. Some patients report headaches during the 48-hour period after receiving an injection. While most of the side effects are mild, any severe issues should be reported to your doctor immediately. In some cases, reducing the dosage of the subsequent injections will minimize any side effects that do appear.

Rare side effects include dizziness, difficulty breathing, and swelling of the face, tongue or throat. Should any of these side effects appear, seek medical attention immediately.
