The thyroid is a small gland in your neck that releases hormones to improve the oxygen supply in the body. Cautions While Taking Anti-thyroid Medications:

Antithyroid medication is an effective treatment for thyroid with some cautions. Some of the widely acclaimed medications for the Thyroid include Cytomel, Levoxyl and Synthroid. These are prescription medications and should be taken under doctor’s supervision. Make sure that you are taking the dosage as prescribed by your doctor because overdose or missed dose may cause health complications.
