The reduce blood flow in the penis make it difficult for the men to achieve and maintain erection. Thus, Sildenafil works by blocking PDE5, which allows cGMP to show its effect. This chemical allows increase flow of the blood in the penis, thereby helping men in achieving and maintaining erection for the longer period of time.
